Minister of State for Works
GEN. Edward Katumba Wamala is a serving army office of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF). He was appointed to serve as the Minister of State for Works since 17 January 2017.
He previously served as the Chief of Defence Forces of Uganda, the highest military rank in the UPDF from 2013 until 2017. He was previous to this the Commander of Land Forces in the UPDF from 2005 to 2013.
He also served as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Uganda Police Force (UPF), also the highest rank in that branch of the Uganda Government from 2001 until 2005. Wamala was the first active UPDF soldier to serve as the head of the UPF.

Susan currently handles corporate communications for SGS Uganda, a subsidiary of SGS SA - which was awarded the tender to carry out motor vehicles inspection on behalf of the Government of Uganda and Conformity for products regulated under the Uganda Pre-Export Verification of Conformity to Standards Programme (PVoC).
Over the past 9 years, Susan has been highly involved in the East African public relations and media industry; hosting an entertainment TV show on East African TV (EATV) and Nation Media Television (NTV), consulting for an apprentice TV show (Inspire Africa) and moderating a youth initiative talk show for UNICEF
UCC Executive Director
Godfrey Mutabazi is the Executive Director of Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) - the regulatory authority of the communications sector in Uganda, which comprises broadcasting, postal and telecommunications services.
Mr. Mutabazi is an aeronautical engineer and a fully registered member of the Royal Aeronautical Society of the United Kingdom. He holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) with a bias in Spectrum Planning (University of Liverpool, U.K).
Previously, Mr. Mutabazi worked in the United Kingdom for over ten years as an Engineer for several engineering companies, including Air Touring Services at Beggin Hill.
He also worked as the Chief Engineer of Mustique Airways, the then largest and most prestigious charter airline in the East Caribbean.

Natalie is the founder and CEO for BDE consults a company focused on ICT Research and Institutional development efficiencies. She is also the country lead for Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), which is focused on youth leadership in entrepreneurship through the use of digital technologies.
She holds a Masters in Science Development Economics and a Bachelor in Arts Ethics and Development and is currently perusing a Masters in Science, in Information Technology.
Her specialties include, Project Management and Development in ICT's, Sensitization and Advocacy in ICT4D, Engaging youth in ICT's, ICT Research and tailored training among others.
Charles Magoye is an enthusiastic, adaptable and capable Information Technology practitioner, experienced in applying IT usage in diverse areas that Include Insurance and Pension fund management.
Charles possesses excellent communications and inter-personal skills at both Operational and Senior Management levels, and has strong organizational co-ordination and management skills on single and multiple projects.

Richard currently works with the United Nations International Trade Centre (ITC) to promote export of Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (ITES) from Uganda.
He worked on the management team of I-Network (An IICD-Netherlands initiated organization), being responsible for creating and supporting ICT and livelihood projects within the Network and partner organizations including Government of Uganda, Uganda Commodity Exchange, Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau, SNV, WOUGNET, CEFORD and Local Governments among others, evaluating & carrying out impact assessments as well as mainstreaming the successful ones at the end.

The former Executive Director of the Uganda National Bureau of Standards, Dr. Terry Kahuma, has been appointed the Dean of Science and Technology at Victoria University. Dr. Kahuma who left UNBS in 2012 has been at Victoria University since January this year.
Prior to joining Victoria University, Kahuma had lectured at four universities, with a field experience of 10 years and has been in private consultancy for the last five years.
“The experience I have is a unique mix which gives balance between theory, practice and managerial experience at a top level. It will definitely enrich my classroom interaction with my students and my contributions in administrative work towards the growth of the university,” Kahuma said.

He is a passionate IT Specialist, with over 7 years of IT Projects Management, Business Development and IT Service Management, A graduate of a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from Makerere University, CCNA, ITIL and a Certificate in Software Engineering at the National Software Incubation Centre.
He is Currently working as Business Development Manager for Infinity Computers also known as I3C, in the past he worked for Institutions such as Makerere University, Interswitch EastAfrica and Cironet Technologies Limited
